"This intense 2 day workshop is intended to communicate, in a practical manner, the foundations of Design Thinking, focusing on not only the iterative design process but also the empathy and prototyping tools that are essential to the methodology.
A practical case study will be used to provide context to the session and it’s expected that participants utilize DT tools to address and solve the design challenge for the duration of the 2 days.
More than an innovation process, Design Thinking is an essentially exploratory process that starts from a problem to a final project, solution or strategy. This workshop is intended to be a hands-on initiation to Design Thinking. To understand the whole process, we understand that students must go through it, exploring and solving a real challenge. For two days, different methodologies, tools and frameworks applied to the practical challenge in question will be explored on the ground."

"This intense one-day workshop aims to give participants some basics of gamification, with a special focus on the design process and the importance of the methodology and its iterative character.
We will approach the world of games and the permeability of their mechanics to the ""real world"" as well as some of the underlying psychological principles. We will also give you some strategies for profiling players and how they can help you choose the mechanics to apply.
The format of the workshop will be based on a principle of learning through practice, having a practical relationship with theory of 70/30.
In the end, the participants will have worked together on a concrete engagement challenge, producing a draft of a gamified solution to address it."
